Author of the Killing Sisters and JJ Stoner crime-thrillers, Frank Westworth, is the latest addition to the line-up for next year’s ‘Darker Side Of Fiction’ convention. Hosted by Hourglass Events, this one-day bookfest of all things mysterious will be held in Peterborough, UK, on October 7th 2017. To date, 24 authors have confirmed they’ll be attending, with more announcements in the pipeline. This creative crew definitely represents the dark side of writing – including the crime, fantasy, horror, mystery, paranormal, psychological fiction, sci-fi and thriller genres. Frank’s no-holds-barred neo noir novels and short, sharp stabs should fit right in…
Writers from around the world will be available to sign books and talk with readers for the whole day. Alongside Frank’s intricate and explicit thrillers, the audience will be confronted with female detectives and murderous mind-games from Hemmie Martin; a clairvoyant who specialises in sending roaming spirits to their rest from Glenn Haigh, and an alien invasion in 3030 from L C Morgan. Horror-writer JG Clay represents his ‘Tales of Blood and Sulphur’ while Ross Greenwood delivers his prison-based thriller, Lazy Blood. Then there’s the good old-fashioned haunted houses, psi action-adventures, spookynatural detectives, vampires, zombies – and even the odd spot of romantic entanglement…
Tickets for The Darker Side Of Fiction 2017 will be on sale later this summer. Meanwhile, follow the Darker Side and MMM Facebook pages to stay up to date with new author announcements and information.
